As we build momentum for the 16th edition of the African Youth and Governance Convergence (AYGC), the Youth Bridge Foundation; the Convenors of the Program, is proud to announce the 2025 AYGC virtual Pre-Convening SEGMENT/HANGOUT/ scheduled for Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 2:00 PM GMT / 3:00 PM WAT..
This is anticipated to bring together alumni and prospective delegates from Anglophone, Francophone, and Lusophone Africa and the diaspora to (a) Consolidate and share insights right from the maiden AYGC, (b) Validate issues gathered from the earlier held virtual bloc engagements and © Co-create a model that would strengthen the footprint as a Program.
Under the theme “Consolidating Gains; Positioning for Greater Impact,” and moderated by two dynamic AYGC alumni and mentors, Angèle Kolouche Biao (Benin) and Princess Sekyere Bih (Ghana), the 2025 AYGC Virtual Pre-Convening will underscore two of the AYGC’s tenets: fostering cross-cultural collaboration and a cascade of mentorship. The event would offer an inclusive opportunity for dialogues and reflections as African youth from the Continent and Diaspora shape better youth-responsive development alternatives to inform a multi-stakeholder and evidence-based advocacies in Africa.
